I chose The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate Dicamillo. When I was younger this book was so sad and heartbreaking to me, and it was also one of my favorites. I was able to read big words and chapter books but I was young enough to still enioy the illustrations.

~ Joining Booklr ~
I have never made any sort of announcement on this blog before, let alone one of me joining a group. I know I have some followers who are not at all associated with books or reading! Do not worry I will continue to reblog (maybe post) things other than books!
The first of August I will be joining the book photo challenge created by Jen of just0nemorepage. I love photography and reading so I figured I would do this. PLEASE NOTE : I have never done anything like this before and my selection of books is very limited! I have about 40 books in total and not all fall completely under the word of the day for each day. In the post, it does say that there is no wrong way to interpret anything so at least there’s that.
I am just starting so if you are interested in following a new aspiring Booklr, please do. And if you are also participating or are a book blogger, reblog this and I will follow you.

This is my cat Luna, laying in front of a stack of some of my books! She is glorious and is like my baby! 💕 I love when I read and put my book down, and when I go to grab it again, I find her laying on top of it! 😂😸
